Jewellery has always held a special place in a woman’s life — not just in India but across the world. It carries emotions, memories, moments, and dreams. In India especially, jewellery isn’t just an accessory. It’s a symbol of identity, tradition, and expression.
But here’s the problem.
Traditional gold jewellery is expensive and often lives in lockers, brought out only for weddings and festivals. On the other hand, cheap imitation jewellery fades quickly, causes skin irritation, and never truly feels premium. The middle ground? It barely existed.
That’s where Smorsh was born — from a real gap we saw, and a very real need we felt ourselves.
We wanted women to own pieces they could wear every single day without worrying about skin rashes, tarnishing, or theft. Jewellery that is affordable, stylish, and durable, yet elegant enough to feel special.
At Smorsh, we offer beautifully curated designs made with 316L and 304L stainless steel, known for being skin-safe, hypoallergenic, anti-tarnish, and water-resistant.
We use PVD, Ion, and Electro plating techniques depending on the design, ensuring our pieces maintain their shine for years. Whether it’s rings, pendants, earrings, or chains — we design with intention and finish with honesty.
Our brand is woman-led, founded by Siddhi S, a Fine Arts graduate from Mumbai who later trained in design at the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Her personal struggle to find safe, non-allergic, elegant everyday jewellery led to this venture. Every Smorsh piece reflects her passion for thoughtful design and wearable art.
